Hi and welcome to my blog and the first ever post here. May they be followed by many more.

This blog post was posted at the same time as this site went online. I hope to look back one day and see the mountains I've climbed and overcome.

My purpose here is to jot down my thoughts about Australian transcription here and elsewhere while I gain experience. I've only recently completed a comprehensive online course in transcription where I've spent time typing from real-world audio files and getting professional feedback. Now I'm ready to help others shine by helping turn their audio into text.

To gain experience, I'm putting myself out there and offering my professional hard-earned transcription skills FREE for your audio file, or multiple files if it's some kind of series. Contact me via my homepage and we can go from there!
